Mercedes 500 SEL – 1984
Enjoy the ride!
S-Class (abbr. for the German Sonderklasse, or “special class”) has forever been linked to superior luxury and status, the latest technical innovation, and an ageless design.
The W126’s (internal Mercedes technical denomination), twelve-year production run was the longest of any S-Class generation. Between 1979 and 1991 almost 900,000 cars were produced, making it the most successful luxury car ever built.
I’m a lucky owner of a beautifully preserved 1984 Mercedes S-Class exemplar. At the proud age of 35 years, it still effortlessly radiates a subtle aura of excellence and elegance. The W126 is definitely a fascinating piece of history that is available as a means of transportation to my customers on the Croatian coast.
Enjoy watching a short clip, taken at sunset on the road from Knin to Šibenik, and a short trailer about legendary car designer Bruno Sacco.
